Poppit Heart
"Quick, quick, look what I've found" I shout to Maria as we comb the beach - this beautiful heart only revealed itself when the tide went out and I didn’t have long before it became hidden again. I get such a waft of joy when nature delivers.
There are two beaches in one at Poppit: A sandy side that curves east into the estuary, and a rocky side that follows the headland west. My first two daughters learned to walk on this beach, as I lived nearby – it has many special memories for me.
As you enter Poppit beach from the village of St.Dogmaels, past the lifeguard station, head north west.
I had one of those double take moments when I saw this heart, it is nestled between two rocky outcrops, wait for low tide and you will be able to walk straight to this clock - unless the sand has covered it...

UV Print
Utilising some of the most up-to-date printing technology in the world, Ultraviolet (UV) printing is a technique using special curing ink. Directly after being sprayed onto the reverse of the acrylic, the ink is hardened with UV light.
This production method offers high quality print, is fade and scratch resistant, and the finished print will have a more durable surface than a solvent based printing process.
UV printers are also more environmentally friendly when compared to other types of printer.
Packaging
All the packaging is compostable: the box; void filler (a starch-based material that dissolves harmlessly in water); packaging tape; paper clock face protector and clock hands guard - the card and paper are also suitable for putting in your recycle bin.
