Ringnesia

I have always been a ‘doer’.

Growing-up, I wanted to fix everything, so was happy to do whatever DIY mum and dad allowed.

My first electric shock…

Long before we had a clever person showing us a detailed ‘How to’ online, I only had an inquiring mind and like many young males, a belief I was immortal. Trying to figure out why the vacuum cleaner didn’t switch on escalated into me being switched on: ‘Oooo, that was powerful’ I thought – since then, the thought of how and why all that energy was in such a tiny bit of metal intrigued me.

I find the imagined chaotic imagery of energy beguiling, it has a motion that never ceases, always renewing and forming new patterns - awesome stuff.

  • Limited Edition

I will only make up to 25 of this particular clock.

Each ‘Limited Edition’ clock is numbered; 25 will be the last in the series.

  • Clock Specifications

Approximately 346mm wide by 346mm tall

UV printed on the back of 8mm clear acrylic.

The clock mechanism is very quiet (but not truly silent) with a sweeping second hand. It is battery driven and requires 1 AA battery (included). The clock has a hanging hole at the back for you to hang it on a hook or nail.

  • UV Print

Utilising some of the most up-to-date printing technology in the world, Ultraviolet (UV) printing is a technique using special curing ink. Directly after being sprayed onto the reverse of the acrylic, the ink is hardened with UV light.

This production method offers high quality print, is fade and scratch resistant, and the finished print will have a more durable surface than a solvent based printing process.

UV printers are also more environmentally friendly when compared to other types of printer.

  • Packaging

All the packaging is compostable: the box; void filler (a starch-based material that dissolves harmlessly in water); packaging tape; paper clock face protector and clock hands guard - the card and paper are also suitable for putting in your recycle bin.

I have one boxed and ready to go - it can be with you in a few days.
